arc-menu.ch writes no menu. It reads what each restaurant publishes on its own website, notes the reading time, and shows it to you as is.

The menu comes from the restaurant, not from us
Every day our reader opens the restaurant’s website (“today’s menu” page, PDF, online board) and extracts the dishes, set menus and prices it publishes. It adds nothing, completes nothing, and never turns a missing price into a likely one.
On each card, “read at HH:MM” is the real time the source was read.
When there is no menu, we say so
A restaurant may publish nothing, publish only a permanent menu, or post its menu on a social network we do not read. In those cases the card shows the reason (“not published today”, “not verifiable”) and the time of the check — never an invented dish.
No rating, no reviews, no ranking
arc-menu.ch does not rate restaurants and shows no reviews. Results are ordered by distance, then by how often the page is visited on our site. The only photos shown come from the restaurant’s website.
Towns covered
A town page exists only when we know at least three geolocated restaurants in that locality (official locality derived from coordinates, source swisstopo). The counters shown are measured live.
Your data
Searching near you uses your device’s location, which is not stored. The site is hosted in Switzerland by AXIONYX.io Sàrl, Neuchâtel.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the menus on arc-menu.ch come from?
From the restaurant’s own website: our reader opens the page or PDF of today’s menu published by the restaurant and copies the dishes, set menus and prices, with the reading time.
Can a daily menu be invented or completed by an AI?
No. A menu is shown only if it was read in the restaurant’s publication. Without a publication, the card says “no daily menu published today” with the time of the check.
Why does a restaurant appear without a daily menu?
Because it published nothing online that day, has a permanent menu only, or shows its menu only on a social network we do not read. The reason is shown on the card.
Are prices up to date?
They are the prices published by the restaurant at reading time, which is shown. A price missing from the publication stays missing: we never estimate a price.
Does arc-menu.ch rate restaurants?
No. No rating, no reviews, no ranking. Results are sorted by distance.
How can I get my restaurant’s menu read?
Publish your daily menu as text (not only as an image) on your website, at a stable address. The “For restaurants” page explains what our reader understands, and you can write to contact@axionyx.io.
